Someone Once Told Me is a interesting website, a person in black and white photo with a message everyday. You can submit yours.

Posterous lets you post stuff by email. I sent two emails, one is a plain text email, the other is with an attached image. You can see them here.

You don't have too set up an account (password), but if you do, you can personalize the name of subdomain.

I think this is a good idea, if you like to write in plain text, you only need to mail it out.
